Welcome to PAW!

Beginners are WELCOME!  No photography experience needed to attend!

Membership has been reduced from $30 per year to $20 for 2018!  Membership gives you access to each and every meeting as well as all the information contained in this site. If you are new here and a beginner looking to expand your knowledge of photography, you are encouraged to start in the Blogs section for some good tips from beginner to advanced!

Who: The Photography Association of Wenatchee (PAW), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization (by way of the museum umbrella) serving north central Washington State, including Chelan and Douglas counties, as well as world-wide with this web site

What: Promoting, enjoying and learning photography where we live and travel

When: General meeting is the SECOND TUESDAY of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm

Where: We are meeting at the Douglas County Transportation and Land Services Building at the bottom of 19th St in East Wenatchee

Why: To support, train, inspire and guide members of ALL SKILL LEVELS to have more fun and be better photographers tomorrow than we are today

How: By asking members what they want from their club, by using our experience to answer those needs, by developing instruction that benefits all of you and open discussions everybody can participate in

Photography is a journey, not a destination. We don't just express ourselves once and we are done. Enjoy the trip!

April 10th 7:00pm - Brief "How to shoot" Hand holding techniques followed by a presentation from member Tom Reichner all about wildlife photography.  A not to miss meeting!

Tumwater Canyon Photo

Can anybody help me with this location along the Tumwater Canyon?  It is said to be off of the Wenatchee River itself and I have spent last fall looking for it.  I would appreciate any help possible; with thanks.See More

"Thank you for that tip, Landon, on possibly labeling photos with a [C] if captive. I have a couple photos taken at a reserve and wondered if that was cheating for sell-worthy photos. Now I know a way to label them."
